Abiotic vs Biotic

Abiotic factors are the nonliving chemical and physical parts of a environment. Biotic factors are the living parts of a environment. Both kinds of factors affect the organisms in the environment and they affect the functioning of ecosystems.

Abiotic Factors

Water, air soil, sun, and rainfall. The water and rain fall helps cool the tigers down when it is too hot for them. They need air in order to survive. And sun and soil helps plants grow, and plants release CO2 which allows tigers to breathe.

Biotic Factors

Forest, trees, and prey. The forest allows the tigers to blend into their surroundings and sneak up on prey. Indochinese tigers scratch the trees in order to show dominance and mark their territory. The prey helps tigers survive by giving them things to eat.
